Em um post anterior <../../03/29/firefox_os_e_adb> foi apresentando com utilizar o adb para acessar o Alcatel One Touch Fire. Neste post será mostrado como rootar e atualizar esse aparelho.

Glossário

Antes de mais nada é importante saber o significado de alguns termos:

• fastboot mode:

  É um modo que segue um protocolo para reescrever uma ou mais partições de um dispositivo.

  Para entrar no fastboot mode do Alcatel One Touch Fire:

  1. Desligue o aparelho.
  2. Ligue o aparelho.
  3. Mantenha o botão para reduzir o volume pressionado por 5 segundos.

Reportando Problemas

Ao utilizar qualquer tipo de programa o usuário irá encontrar algum tipo de problema. Se você ainda não encontrou nenhum problema com os programas que utiliza é porque você utilizou-o poucas vezes.

Umas das melhores coisas em utilizar programas de código livre/aberto (como os listados em Prism Break) é a possibilidade do usuário reportar seus problemas diretamente aos desenvolvedores e que estes ficam muito felizes em tomar conhecimento dos problemas.

Not directly related to GSoC, in this two weeks I had travel to give a talk about MathML <../11/fisl15_mathml>.

Bugs

I created tree bugs:

• Bug 1011477 -[keyboard] multi-character value mixed with alternate keys
• Bug 1011482 -[keyboard] need value and compositeKey fields for alt keys
• Bug 1011661 -[keyboard] requesting uppercase and lowercase for compositekey

And sent a patch for 1011661.

MathML May Meeting

This is a report about the Mozilla MathML May IRC Meeting (see the announcement here). The topics of the meeting can be found in this PAD (local copy of the PAD <pad.txt>) and the IRC log (local copy of the IRC log <irc.txt>) is also available.

In the last 5 weeks the MathML team closed 23 bugs, worked in others 6 and open 7 new ones (this are only the ones tracked by Bugzilla).
