Vez ou outra alguém me pergunta se uso WhatsApp e eu respondo que não. Algumas vezes as pessoas chegam a perguntar por que e eu tenho que explicar porque não gosto de como ele funciona e por isso não uso.

Ontem, o André Garzia <http://andregarzia.com/> escreveu um post chamado WhatsApp doesn't understand the web, ou "WhatsApp não entende a Web", que apresenta alguns novos motivos para eu não usar o WhatsApp de forma que achei adequado traduzir o texto e deixá-lo de referência para a próxima pessoa que me perguntar se uso WhatsApp.

Governança da Open Knowledge Brasil

A Open Knowledge Brasil (OKBr) consegui uma consultoria da Integrah para tentar uma melhoria na sua governança e o Daniel Maldaner será o consultor. O Daniel me pediu para responder algumas perguntas e achei adequado respondê-las publicamente.

Qual é a sua contribuição para a organização?

Me envolvi com a OKBr depois do Encontro de Acadêmicos pelo Conhecimento Livre que aconteceu em Junho 2013 e contou com a participação de vários membros da OKBr. Nessa data a OKBr ainda não existia formalmente, a assembléia de fundação ocorreu em 4 de setembro de 2013, mas a conversa para criação da organização já estava em estado avançado.

ShareLaTeX and GitHub

In this post I will test the bridge between ShareLaTeX and GitHub focusing at dealing with conflicts.

Create Repository at GitHub

The first step was create a Git repository at GitHub to use for this test.

If you already used GitHub this should be easy. I created https://github.com/r-gaia-cs/testing-sharelatex and added https://github.com/abelsiqueira/abelsiqueira.github.io/blob/master/disciplinas/topal2015/ex2015-01-06.tex to it.

Import Repository at ShareLaTeX

The second step was import the Git repository at ShareLaTeX.

Mathml January Meeting
