Online Form Review: Google Form

Today we are going to review Google Forms. To use it you need a Google account which you already have if you already signed to any other of Google’s product.

Possibility to download the answers

You can download the responses as a .csv or create a Google Spreadsheet with the responses that you can download later in many formats.

Email notification

You can receive email after people complete the form. If you want to email responders you need to use Google Script or a third-party app.

The Hidden School

One of the books that I enjoyed reading was “The Way of the Peaceful Warrior” by Dan Millman. I read the book many years after I watched the “Peaceful Warrior”, a film adaption of Dan’s book.

Today is the release of the newest of Dan’s books, “The Hidden School”, and that is the book that I will be reading in the next few weeks.

Some times we need to send a form to gather data. Provide a user friend form is very important and I’m unhappy with some of the tools that I’m using in the past months.

In the next few posts I will look at some of the online form tools available and try to discovery if the have the features that I want.

Reboot

Some times things break or stop working to push you to do something that was on your to-do list for a long time. I had some problems with the virtual private server (VPS) that hosted my web site last month and because of it I had to configure a new VPS. Taking the opportunity I decided to update the theme that I used on my web site. I hope that you like the new one.

Revisitando meu \~/.emacs

Depois de usar o Emacs por mais de um ano eu resolvi revisitar meu ~./emacs, isso é, meu arquivo de configuração do Emacs.

É possível utilizar ~/.emacs, ~/.emacs.el ou ~/.emacs.d/init.el para o arquivo de configuração. Resolvi utilizar o último para manter todos os arquivos no mesmo diretório. Você encontrará meus arquivos no GitLab.
