Carnival in Ouro Preto

Ouro Preto is famous for their carnival. Since I’m living here, I wanted to go and see a little of the party.

I arrived very earlier and the street were, except for the traders, empty.

One of the groups that participated on 21 February was “O ZĂ© Pereira dos Lacaios”, the oldest group in Brazil, that was created in 1867.

Another group that participated was Gatas e GatÔes.
